TopCar magazine was South Africa’s leading motoring magazine at the time, and this was one of the most amazing shoots I have ever done. Having both the iconic E30 M3 and Mercedes’ stunning 190e Evolution in the same shoot with their modern offspring was a literal dream come true.

Kalahari Desert Speedweek is an event in which people bring cars from all over the country to a tiny little corner in the north-west of South Africa, to see how fast each vehicle can go flat-out on a 5km long runway.
